Abukloi Health
Through a school nurse and future community health clinic, Abukloi Foundation seeks to provide community health initiatives in the areas of water, health, and sanitation (WASH), nutrition, maternal health, and mental health.
Our School Nurse
Beginning in 2024, a nurse was hired at Abukloi Secondary School.
She is tasked with providing:

Basic health education and nutrition support

Water, sanitation, and hygiene education

Identification and referral of childhood immunizations

Control and treatment of communicable diseases

Identification and referral of students for appropriate health management

Provision of essential drugs and supplies to those with minor illnesses and conditions
Our future vision is to provide quality health care to the Abukloi community. Abukloi Health will use preventative medicine and public health education to reduce the burden of chronic disease. We plan to partner with local health workers and organizations to provide essential health services, such as vaccinations, screenings, and referrals.
