Abukloi Secondary School cannot function with hungry students and staff. We
must provide a simple daily meal for over 650 students and 52 staff.
Providing them with a meal increases student concentration and active class
participation. Not only that, but it also increases the chances of our
students having two meals a day, which would reduce the rate of
malnutrition.
A daily meal program also improves gender equity.
To make a daily meal program sustainable, we cannot buy food indefinitely;
we must produce it.
